"Ask Astorino" Town Hall to be Held in YonkersAs part of an ongoing effort to reach out to Westchester residents and listen to what is on their minds, County Executive Rob Astorino will host his next "Ask Astorino" town hall meeting on Monday, June 24 at 8 p.m. at the Grinton I. Will Library located at 1500 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers.

The county executive will give an update on the progress his administration is making in delivering on his three major goals: providing tax relief, preserving essential services and promoting economic development. He will also give an update on the 2009 housing settlement and the federal government's efforts to dismantle local zoning.

Yonkers residents are invited to bring any questions or ideas they would like to discuss face-to-face with the county executive.  They can also submit questions in advance via e-mail at

The popular "Ask Astorino" town hall series has drawn crowds in North Salem, Pelham, White Plains, Scarsdale, Cortlandt, Eastchester, New Castle, Somers, Ossining, Mamaroneck, Yonkers, Rye, Greenburgh, Yorktown, Lewisboro, Harrison and North Castle and will continue to be held on a regular basis throughout the county.
