As part of an ongoing effort to reach out to Westchester residents and listen to what is on their minds, County Executive Rob Astorino will host his next "Ask Astorino" town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Somers Middle School (use auditorium entrance) at 250 Route 202, Somers.
Astorino will be introduced by Somers Town Supervisor Mary Beth Murphy. The county executive will provide an overview of the 2013 budget, which was approved by a bipartisan coalition of the Board of Legislators. He will also give an update on the progress his administration is making in delivering on his three major goals: providing tax relief, preserving essential services and promoting economic development.
Area residents are invited to bring any questions or ideas they would like to discuss face-to-face with the county executive. They can also submit questions in advance via e-mail at
The popular "Ask Astorino" town hall series has drawn crowds in North Salem, Pelham, White Plains, Scarsdale, Cortlandt, Eastchester and New Castle and will continue to be held on a monthly basis throughout the county.
