June 4, 2012 -- County Executive Robert P. Astorino today issued the following statement:
"On behalf of Westchester County residents, I offer my condolences to the family and friends of Eddie Doyle Jr. who died unexpectedly last week. As president of Teamsters Local 456, whose membership includes some county government employees, Eddie was a leader. He worked tirelessly on behalf of his union. At the same time, he understood the art of compromise. For that, he will always have my greatest respect."
