Breast cancer support groups offered once, twice or four times per month, by Support Connection, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides free support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Facilitated by trained peer counselors who have experienced cancer, there are groups for young women, women in treatment, women with recurrence, and all survivors, with a focus on life after a cancer diagnosis, including topics relating to living with cancer through all stages of diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment. Gynecologic Networking Group

A support group for individuals to attend to share experiences, information and ideas with others who have been diagnosed with a gynecological related cancer (i.e. ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, etc.). Ovarian Cancer Toll-Free Telephone Support Group
8 p.m. New York time
A Toll-Free Telephone Support Group for women with ovarian cancer; available to women regardless of where they live. The group enables women with ovarian cancer to support one another and share their concerns and experiences with other women who have the same diagnosis; after registering in advance, participants call into a toll-free number and are connected with the group via teleconference. Celebrating YWCA Yonkers’ 118th Anniversary. This event will recognize women who, inspired by their convictions, demand justice and provide comfort, inspiration, motivation, and a voice for those unable to speak for themselves, ultimately improving the quality of life of people everywhere.
