Here you will find the vital services to the elderly or disabled who need some help, but wish to remain in their homes and community comfortably and safely.  Family members who are caring for a parent, spouse or other relative will find support services in our Caregiver Corner.  Three valuable resources for the family cargiver are A Guide for Caregivers: Respite Services and Caregiver Support Groups, A Guide for Caregivers: What You Need to Know and the Caring newsletter.

The New York Connects help line is a new service where callers can make one, toll-free telephone call for information about long-term care for seniors and for adults and children who are disabled.

The elderly are particularly vulnerable to physical, emotional and financial abuse.  If you suspect elder abuse, read the information here to see how to recognize it and learn what can be done about it.

NY Connects means choices for long-term care. This state program offers a 24-hour help line for assistance with related questions.
