 17 Dare to be a Doctor

Westchester County hosts the second "Rx for Success: Dare to be a Doctor" event promoting careers in the health professions to black and Hispanic students. A Latina doctor who grew up in a tough neighborhood and followed her dreams to become a doctor and lawyer will speak to students. Students will also learn how to get to med school and will talk with dozens of doctors and healthcare professionals about what they do every day. Registration closes Oct. 13.

Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? Do you like to play soccer and/or basketball but have no place to go? The Boys and Girls Club in New Rochelle can help you.
