The Westchester County Executive's Office of LGBT Affairs works to identify and resolve issues affecting LGBT residents in Westchester. The office offers assistance to individuals and community agencies as well as other government agencies. The assistance offered by the office is as varied as the community, ranging from trainings about LGBT issues, information and referral on many matters, and outreach into the mainstream community

LGBT Advisory Board
Since 2002, Westchester County has had a citizens’ advisory board to advise the County Executive on issues important to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Recommendations from the board may be in the areas of legislation, services, programs, funding, or anything else the advisors deem appropriate.
Members of the board include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and supportive straight people with a broad range of experiences. They are a diverse group of people who are businesspeople, non-profit managers, entrepreneurs, parents, educators and students.
