Fingerprint Information
 
4Fee of $27.00 – Cash or Check ONLY payable to “County of Westchester”
 4Plan approximately 15 minutes for fingerprint processing.
 4See the appropriate Database Application Form for approved identification required to bring for processing.

For those applicants who have submitted to a fingerprint Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) with their company, a letter
      may be submitted on company letterhead indicating a CHRC has been completed along with the Case Number. This letter must
      be signed by an authorized company representative on file with Airport Security.

New Applicant Process
SIDA Employee:

  • 1st. Fingerprints – applicant must have “SIDA ID Company Request Form” completed prior to fingerprinting. They may also complete the “SIDA ID Database Application Form” online or in person. If applicant has a letter stating a CHRC has been complete (See Fingerprint Information), just attached the “SIDA ID Company Request Form”  to the letter and drop off with Airport Security or bring it to the SIDA class.

  • 2nd. SIDA Class – class may only be administered to those who have submitted to a CHRC and Security has the results in hand or a letter as stated above.

  • 3rd. SIDA ID issued.

FBO:

Non-SIDA:

  • 1st. Retrieve the “Non-SIDA Access Application” online or by stopping by the Airport Security office. All paperwork must be completed prior to ID issuance. Applicant must bring proper identification.

  • 2nd. ID issuance.

Renewal Process:
Airport ID holders requesting a badge renewal should bring following forms/documents:

  1. ID authorization form, completed by the Authorized Signer (a person who is on file with the airport, designated by the company to authorize new ID applications and renewals) from that company/facility/FBO.
  2. Airport
  3. Personal identification documents as specified on the Airport ID Database Form (or Federal form I-9) if you are a current ID holder.

ID holders who were not born in U.S. need to prove either US Citizenship or legal resident status in U.S.

Lost ID’s:

  • All airport issued ID’s are the property of Westchester County Airport

  • Any Lost/Misplaced/Stolen ID must be reported to Airport Security immediately so that we can disable the card make appropriate notifications.

  • *Remember, the badge holder will be accountable for their ID from the time it was lost until it is reported.

  • *During normal business hours, please call the Security Supervisors or ID Specialist. After hours, call Airport Operations at (914) 995-4850.

  • Guidance for Lost ID’s:

  • retrace your steps – even 2 or 3 times

  • ask around – fellow employees, family, friends

  • search pockets, car, house, locker, etc.

  • if you searched everywhere you thought it could be, look where the badge should NOT be

1st Time

2nd Time $150.00 non-refundable/ possibly retake SIDA class

Once an ID is lost, the “HPN Lost ID Replacement Application” must be completed by the applicant and their authorized company representative.
The fee and form must be presented at time of re-issuance.

  • A Visitor ID will not be issued to someone who loses their ID unless the proper fee is paid.

Forgotten ID’s:
A Visitor ID will not be issued to someone who forgets their ID. Employees who forget their ID must either retrieve it or stay outside the SIDA area for their shift.

Visitor ID’s:
Visitor ID’s will be issued to new employees who have not gone through the SIDA application process.
They will also be issued to contractors who need access to the SIDA. All persons must abide by the Westchester County Airport Visitor ID policy, which includes:

  • in exchange for a Visitor ID, a person must present:

- a State Issued Drivers License
- Military ID
- Passport
- US Airport ID
- Non-Driver State ID
- US Government ID
- any non-picture ID must be accompanied with a photo ID

  • be escorted by a SIDA badged employee with an “E” on their issued ID

  • Visitor ID must be returned at the end of the persons shift

Important Information:

  •  All airport issued ID’s are the property of Westchester County Airport

  • ID’s are not transferable, must be on the outer most garment and visible above the waist

  • Westchester County Airport reserves the right to restrict or revoke authorization of individuals for Airport ID’s.

  • New Non-SIDA  Badge Issuance – in process. Come to Airport Security to update your badge. Please bring your current Non-SIDA ID.
